Election Information

Closed Primary

Florida is a closed primary state. If you wish to vote in a partisan primary election, you must be a registered voter in the party for which the primary is being held. 

State Amendments

12 Constitutional Amendments are on the General Election ballot on Nov 6. Check below for a brief description of each.

Polk Amendments

There are four Polk County ballot initiatives in this election: 
three Charter Amendments and one Referendum to continue the school tax.

Voting Rights

Amendment 4 will allow former felons to earn the eligibility to vote by completing their full sentence.  Everyone deserves a second chance.
