The League of Women Voters of Polk County and the
Lawton M. Chiles Jr. Center for Florida History
are sponsoring a Collaborative Event at the McKay Archives Center.
LWVPolk is hosting a luncheon at 11:30AM prior to the
Program at 12:30 PM
the Speaker is Martin A. Dyckman Author of
Reuben O'D. Askew and the Golden Age of Florida Politics
LWV Invited Guests include:

which includes the time that Reuben O'D. Askew was Governor of Florida

Florida Southern College 111 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, (Opposite side of campus)

Lawton Chiles Center for Florida History
Located in the McKay Archive Center
Next to the Roux Library

The buildings back up to McDonald Avenue where it nearby intersects with Johnson Avenue.
There is a walkway between the McKay Archive Bldg. and the Roux Library leading from the Parking Lot behind the buildings that
is parellel with McDonald Street. This leads to the Barnett Plaza area that weather permitting we will have the tables for luncheon set up.

On the Map they are AR McKay Archive Center
and RL for Roux Library.
VB is the parking lots.
WD are the beautiful dancing Wright Fountains.
